Sleep Is Power!

Good sleep is how a young brain recharges so they can thrive during the day.  It is vital for peak performance in academics, sports and activities, emotional regulation, attention and memory, and promotes immune system functioning to help fight off infections. Sleep is Power!

The National Institute of Health states that insufficient sleep in adolescents increases risks for poor mental health like depression and anxiety, headaches, behavioral problems, trouble with concentration and focus, and lower academic grades.

The CDC recommends that more students need more sleep.

Bhakti Brain Health Clinic Has Some Powerful Tools To Help With Sleep!

➡️Schedule a Brain Assessment.  Using QEEG “brain mapping” and Event Related Potential (ERP) we are able to see exactly where a brain is dysregulated.  It’s non- invasive imaging done while wearing a comfortable cap of sensors while seated in a chair for about an hour.  It provides over 200 pages of data and analysis about what is happening, or not happening in a person’s brain.  This helps to understand factors that may be related to sleep issues, mental health issues, learning challenges, and more.

➡️Neurotherapies.  We use evidence based, FDA approved, non medication therapies like Neurofeedback and more which can be successful to regulate a dysregulated brain.  Through a series of sessions in the clinic, the results are permanent and even continue to improve on their own.   The brain has the amazing ability to change itself!

➡️AVE (Audio Visual Entrainment)  is a device that your student and the whole family can use at home.  There are preset programs for sleep and more.  It consists of headphones and goggles that deliver pulsing tones and lights that gently guide your brain waves to get in sync with the frequencies while strengthening the neural pathways needed for sleep.

It would be an honor for us to help you or your struggling student get better sleep to live more fully.  Schedule a free online consultation from the ease of your home by clicking here.

If you are in a school and would like more information about how you can get funding for the AVE devices for your special ed, OT or counseling rooms, please contact me.  They are very effective for focus, memory, behavior and mood regulation.
